Infrastructure Development Project in Thilawa Area (Phase I)
The objective of the Project is to promote inflow of foreign direct investment in Thilawa area by developing necessary infrastructure in the area, which contributes to the development as well as job creation in the Greater Yangon, hence contributes to the economic development of Myanmar.
As for Port Sector, to establish new multipurpose terminals and develop infrastructure related to the terminals of Yangon Port in Thilawa Area.
Thilawa Port Area is not too far from Yangon City.
About 30 km from Yangon City, through small and quiet town of Thanlyin, and next to Thilawa SEZ, is our Project site Plot 25 and 26 of Thilawa Port Area.

This Project is the First Largest Japanese ODA Infrastructure Project after 30 years.
We started our Consulting Service in 2012. Our service includes Feasibility Study, Detailed Design, Tender Assistance and Construction Supervision.
The Project is divided into two Packages: Package 1 is construction of Civil Work and Buildings and Package 2, Procurement of Cargo Handling Equipment. Package 1 was started in 2016 and Package 2 in 2017.
Package 1, Civil Work and Buildings and Package 2, Procurement of Cargo Handling Equipment, both Packages were completed within the time stipulated.
We have accomplished the completion of the Project on December 3, 2018.
Port facilities were handed over to operator Kamigumi in early February 2019.
Kamigumi and the conglomerate named the port “Thilawa Myanmar International Terminal (TMIT)”.
